Bracell SP employees attended the 52nd International Congress of Pulp and Paper, which took place from October 22 to 24, at the Hotel Transamérica, in São Paulo. The event is one of the largest technical congresses and exhibitions in Latin America, focusing on quality improvement, knowledge dissemination, industrial innovation, new technologies, commercial and environmental sustainability and business competitiveness.
Pedro Stefanini, General Manager of the SP unit, Sabrina de Branco, Senior Manager of Communication, Institutional Relations and Sustainability, and Lais Drezza, Sustainability Manager, attended the event. At the get-together dinner, the managers were able to exchange ideas and share with the industry’s top CEOs the good practices and the joint work to strengthen the sector.
The event also had a technical congress attended by Carlos Bariquello, Glauco Leal, Bruno Gonçalves, Murilo Chaguri, Wanderlei da Silva, Priscila Chuffa, Karina Honjoya, Ediza Galli, Henrique Fadel, Gláucia de Souza, Marlon Medola, Bruno Fenara and Antonio de Lima.
The congress is held annually and brings national and international speakers from the pulp and paper industry, both from industry and universities (USP, UFRB, UFV, ESALQ-USP, NC State University), as well as renowned research centers (IPT, RISI, Center Technique du Papier).
