The “We Are Bracell, in English” campaign launching our new brand, developed by the Weber Shandwick agency, was recognized with the SABER Awards Latin American Industry/Manufacturing Certificate of Excellence, an annual award given by Holmes Report, an International Public Relations Association that shares innovative experiences and recognizes outstanding professionals and projects from around the world. The certificate will be officially presented in October, in Mexico, during the Global Public Relations Conference.
Held between April and May this year, the campaign marked the merger of BSC, Copener and Lwarcel and the announcement of Bracell’s unique name for the three companies. For Sabrina de Branco, senior manager of Public Affairs and Sustainability, recognition comes at a good time. “The brand change was a major project that touched all of the company’s more than 2,500 employees as well as our partners, suppliers, neighboring communities and the government. And the best result we could have achieved we achieved, which was the warm welcome of all parties involved. This recognition makes us even happier and more energized to move on with the challenges we have to consolidate the Star project and increasingly integrate the teams from Bahia and São Paulo, strengthening the already born big Bracell brand, ” highlights Sabrina.
The name of the award – SABER – stands for Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation & Engagement. Being among the winners means that the ‘We are Bracell’ campaign was designed with a high degree of quality from planning to execution.
